Easy To Keep Tropical Fish
Can Musk Turtles be kept with any Tropical Fish?
I have had my tropical tank set up for around 6 months now, I only have 4 fish in a 60 gallon tank which are 2 male guppies and 2 neon blue dwarf gourami’s, so it looks pretty plain and empty. I didn’t think to ask in the fish shop but I see they had musk turtles which they were insisting were very easy and hassle free to keep. I just wanted to know if they would have to be in a separate tank or could they mix with certain fish? Or do they have totally different needs?

well you can, but you wont have the fish for very long, turtles like to eat fish!! they wont swim after them, but when the fish get close they will try, and if they nip the fish, infections usually over whelm the fish and they die.
since Turtles are reptiles, they have very different requirements, for one you would need to keep them at a different temperature, have a floating island, have a shallow pool rather than a deep tank, have a heat lamp and a lot of other things, there food and waste will probably set your tank over the limits on ammonia and other things in the water which would kill the fish.
